REFUNDS AND PAYMENTS
If you have opted out of the Graduate Benefit Plan:
If you never paid the charge(s) (for dental and health) in your student account then the charge would just be reversed and should indicate $0.00.
OR
If you paid the dental and/or health charges in your student account and then opted out, then you should contact Student Accounts regarding a refund/credit.
The GSS does not have access to student financials/accounts. Refunds are handled through SFU Student Accounts and their phone number is 604-291-3218.
They will be able to advise you on what their refund process is.
All questions related to your SFU Student Account and payments to your SFU Student Account should be directed to SFU Student Accounts at 778-782-3218.
Payments for Family/Couple Coverage:
Payments must be in the form of a certified bank cheque or money order
made payable to: "The Graduate Student Society at SFU" We
do not currently accept cash, credit cards, interac or personal cheques.
The deadline for family/couple additions is 30 days from the start date of
your benefits coverage.

Payments for Single Coverage:
Single coverage fees are assessed/collected by the university along with your tuition via your student account. You can check your student account via go.sfu.ca or contact Student Accounts at 604-291-3218 if you have any questions about your account and payment to your account.
